Not enough information. A solid 30-40% of LRC posters need to also know the race, religion, and political parties of you and the mother before they can spout their myopic views on the subject.

Uh oh you screwed up big time. Congrats man! Embrace it. It is time to grow up and get a job and support your beautiful girlfriend and beautiful baby that is about to be brought to Earth.

It is probably best now to get a job and start saving up. The woman should not work. She should stay home and prepare for conception and raising the child. I would start right now in finding 2 jobs. If you are in school, drop out, and work mornings and evenings.

Children cost about $233,610 to raise it to 18. That means roughly $13,000 per year.

Maybe ask your parents or close friends who have children for tips/money/baby items that you may will need.

1. Get a full time job as fast as you can, then get married. Stay married and raise your family. Move in with your parents if possible, to save money.

2. Support her through pregnancy and encourage her to give up baby for adoption.

You can do it! Being a father is a challenge and rewarding. You'll look forward to preschool drop-offs in 4 years, t-ball and spelling tests.

Your family start is not ideal, but you can make it positive by making wise choices now.

The chances that he doesn't know the difference between conception and delivery is very very small. Most of us are smart enough to assume it was an accidental mistake. You however, are not smart enough to know this. You are also not smart enough to know that when you corrected him, you are doing nothing but exposing your own stupidity.

Lol. Nice fail. Since YOU don’t know the difference, allow me to spell it out for you. Its and it’s are spelled the same, but one is a contraction. Incorrect use of a contraction is not a spelling mistake, but a grammatical one. I think you could benefit from being held back a grade.

If the poster above is so stupid he thinks a woman has to quit her job and go home the moment she finds out she is pregnant, I'd say it is a fair assumption he doesn't know the difference between conception and delivery.

Ok. I said conception instead of delivery. 99% of people who are not grammatical nutwads understood what I mean. And you know what man? It is not good for a pregnant women to continue working. Sure, maybe in the first few months it is ok but eventually, that baby will start kicking, she will start getting moody and irritable, and all the other things that come with getting pregnant. And you know what man? That is not good for work. She eventually will need to go on leave, leaving the man to make the dough and pay the bills.

Sure, I agree in the meantime both the OP and his beautiful girlfriend should work, making as much of DINK (Double Income No Kids) as they can, before she starts to really feel the pregnancy horror.

What you don't know is that his girlfriend is a Mexican national in the US illegally. Obviously she will stop working to hide from ICE and make sure she can drop this anchor baby. He on the other hand doesn't need to work. They are both going to live on food stamps and raise the kid full time.

You don't know that for sure. And even if she was, she is still a unique, special human being capable of experiencing happiness, pain, sadness, madness, and stress just like the rest of us. That makes her, and everyone else, beautiful. Don't be so quick to jump on me and say that I am saying she is beautiful in terms of her looks. It is not all about looks in life. It is about who we are as human beings. We are beautiful creations.
