Be honest. Do I have any chance of breaking 5 for the 1600 in a year's time?

Yes, I am update lol. I made a new account after breaking 5, and I tracked my progress during college via another thread.

I never ended up running for my school’s team, but I graduated after 4 years with these PRs (ran unattached in DIII meets):

2:08 800 (hour or so after mile PR)

4:39 mile

9:06 3K

15:47 5K

32:49 10K

Got married and eventually ended up moving to the DMV area for work. Been training with a good group here and have run 53:56 for 10 miles and 1:11:43 for half marathon in the past year. Remembered this thread on a whim today; it’s really crazy to think how far I’ve come since high school.
