This is always the ephemeral argument of those: "Can you show me something that wasn't invented due to the regulation?"

Well, of course not! That's the whole point. That the lost opportunities are never seen, making it all the more insidious. You'd think that something like "forgotten man" literature (Summer/Bastiat), or Our Enemy The State (Nock) would be required reading in basic education, but of course government-run indoctrination camps (called schools for some reasons) won't ever allow it.

I was pro- #NetNeutrality until social media companies decided to stop treating their own users neutrally. They destroyed the idea of a free and open Internet.

Wow, the Team Alt Right talking point guys are out in force on this one. Repeal of net neutrality is a good thing for the average internet user and content provider? Really? Seriously? The FCC, Republican leadership, and big ISP providers don't even try to make that case. Tell me how in a year or five years my service is going to be better. And don't say, "You'll have more choices," because the way I see it shaping up, it'll be a variety of bad choices, each worse than what we have now.

The kicker is the provision that would prevent state governments from over-ruling this legislation. So much for Repubs supporting small government.
