He won Olympic Gold, what else is there to do in championship racing? I guess he could've jogged today as a training run and won but what's the point in that?

Marathon was invented specifically for the Olympics, so one could actually ask why to have the marathon outside the Olympic games.

Weather is currently given as 22 deg feels like 25, not sure what the latter is supposed to convey. Usually they give that in the winter for the wind chill. Anyway its too warm for my liking and wrong time of day.

McM had false start. I think Stigler stepped outside the lane.

I think he stepped into the lane to his left while coming down off the hurdle at 300, considering he he didn't impede the guy behind him who was like 50m back and I've seen people allowed to run in someone else's lane before he should t have been dqd

You're right. Actually he didn't clear one hurdle with both legs.

At least McMaster's lane violation was in the curve, so he definitely had to be DQd.
