Can you spot the obvious flaw in your argument.

Biomechanically, GD is almost perfect, perhaps perfect an 800/1500 type, but she is an accomplished long distance runner as well. She has almost no rotation in her hips, very little in the torso and her knees don't turn inwards when her feet strikes the ground, which is all unusual for a female runner. When she get tired, the only change is in her face, but she doesn't lose form and can close hard all alone off of a fast pace.
No T&F athlete, male or female in history has ever been the best in the world at more than 2 events over 400m at the same time. When GB is on top of her game, I don't think she can be beat in 800m to the 10K. Btw, no athlete purposely chooses an event longer than they need to run. As strange as it might sound, I believe GD has not run an 800m because they are afraid of how fast she could run. We already know she can at least run 1:57, because she has closed out a 1500 in that time. I can understand her not contesting the 800m in global competitions because the 800m rounds are brutal, but for a 1500m runner to not contest the 800m indoors, the DL circuit or even a local meet is weird and unheard of. GD could probably run 1:54 right now and 1:52 if she trained for it. I think her camp is trying to avoid the controversy of running faster 800m than the old Eastern Bloc athletes who were taking the same steroids they use to give to race horses or the women with hormone issues. To anyone who questions her speed, perhaps she's not a world class 400m sprinter, but she looks like a classic world class 800m runner when she is closing out a 1500 or 3K off of a world record pace.
With all of that said, when GD set the world record in the 1500m, the only athlete who congratulated her by choice was Channel Price, her paid pace maker. Even the other 2 Ethiopians in that race didn't congratulate her. I want to say we are witnessing the greatest female distance runner ever, which is possible, but with an almost non existence AD program in Ethiopia, it hurts her cause. I don't like to indict someone for simply running fast, perhaps GD is really-really-really good -or perhaps we are seeing what a really-really-really talented athlete is capable of when chemically enhanced.
I was away from the sport for many years and I seldom paid much attention to female performances anyhow but when I paid attention to (this) Dibaba her hip flexor muscles that you mention that keep her hips from rotating are a dead give a way that she has been using some sort of synthetic hormone, either low levels of androgel or small level testosterone injections or something fancy. When I see talented young girls training at my local track, sadly I feel like they are wasting their time if the sport allows cheats like Dibaba to dominate.
only 3:58.80 today in Poland
The audacity!
What? Maybe it's just a sign of cross-training exercises designed to strengthen hip stabilisers -- something known to improve form, efficiency, speed and endurance. Maybe you missed this development by being away so many years.

Technically needles are not banned. He could be caught with a million needles and not get busted.Which case exactly? Newspaper reports at the time told us that Los Mossos found Aden with "non-doping" products, and drug testing the athletes turned up negative. Aden was charged with trafficking non-doping substances, still illegal in Spain -- something that shouldn't really concern the IAAF or WADA or fans of the sport. If there really was something to find, somebody surely botched this lengthy sting operation.

How many needles does her coach need to be caught with until these guys get busted? Is this case even ongoing or are we supposed to just forget about it??
Wangs record is best ignored. The 2000m split from it is 5:29.65, meaning she ran the last 1k in 2:36.46. Dibaba averaged a 2:41 in the 2k, Wang averaged 2:42 in the 3k. To give you qn idea of ridiculous that is El Guerrouj averaged 2:22 per 1k in his 2000m WR, Daniel Komen averaged 2:26. Dibaba and Wang is a 1 second difference, El Guerrouj and Komen is a 4 second difference.

Stop whining and go choose better parents! And get off your butt and do some training while you're at it.
