Going to focus only on losing weight for the next few weeks, what's the best way to go about doing it?

Everyday and running isnt the only thing i was doing.

so based on what I've read here running is 100 percent effective in losing weight. And the bonus attached to it is improvement to our overall cardiovascular health. well now I've made the decision to increase my intensity and keep being consistent. it's possible that I might see changes sooner than expected

Advice from I got from pro cyclist:

1) Every meal just 1 Plate, never more. So load your plate and that's it.

2) Before and after Hard Workout fill most of this plate with carbs (rice, pasta)

3) Easy and off days > Salat

4) No junk: no chips, but also no protein/fitnes bars etc

5) if hungry yogurt or spoon of clean protein powder

Every time I stick to it, I get lean

2022 I lost 30 pounds in 40 days.....cut out alcohol, no sugar....all i ate was rotisserie chicken from costco, non fat greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs, protein shakes and protein bars. no carbs or almost very little. I biked hard daily on an indoor trainer allowing me to recover faster than a hard run, lifted 6 days a week and made sure to get in at least 30k steps a day with lots of hills.

In January I lost 10 pounds in 14 days before a beach vacation- basically the same but a much larger calorie deficit(maybe 1000 calories a day all protein). I also take a lot of fiber to feel more full and help with digestion since eating so much meat doesnt help with going poo.

EITS, this is your grandma. I too worry. Stop doing these things worrying us. The point of life is to literally eat, shît, and die, but you are barely doing any of those.

Doubling is a good idea.

You could try adding in some cross training as well.

I wouldn't cut out carbs - that's just fad dieting nonsense.

You need to cut out highly-processed, energy dense foods. In other words, junk food.

I went from 72kgs to 65kgs in about 4 months simply by doing the above.

I was running 110kms a week at 72kgs, but not losing weight.

I now run 75kms a week, but cross train (hard) as a double each day, and I'm down to 65kgs.
