Some people like learning. There's nothing stopping you from doing so. He could have his own business that brings him in passive income to live off as he's not intent on all these qualifications getting him some fantastic job. He just likes learning, reading etc. There are many people like that. It is their passion.
I know a guy with 360 degrees. He's very well-rounded.
