I do think it odd the times she tends to peak and then disappear and in that case find the performances suspect in my mind, but I will not condemn her out of hand since I do not have all of the information

It's pretty damn difficult to disregard five negative drug tests in 2002 alone. And god knows how many other tests were administered by other international bodies. Those of you who say "WADA are the same people as USADA" obviously haven't paid any attention to the news - and should immediately disqualify themselves on any serious discussion on drug-testing issues.
Regina had two patchy outdoor seasons, that alone doesn't mean shit, especially seing how consistent she was over the previous decade or so. To be fair, perhaps we should treat every injured or sick athlete as a druggie - which would include Goucher, Ritz/Webb, Culpepper who came down with a flu in Sydney, and many, many others.
I will also predict that even if Regina wins gold medals at both world indoors and outdoors this year while passing 50 in- and out-of-competition drug tests in the process, the naysayers will keep saying "nahhh, it's obvious she is on drugs", because such is the human nature. What french fans are trying to do to Lance, american fans are trying to do to Regina.

I'm sure if regina was taking drugs, she has an experienced doctor controlling her intake so that she gets off it in time for the drug tests at meets.
I mean think about it, if she knows she's gonna run a meet where she has a chance to get tested, she's gonna get off the stuff just in time for it not to be detected.
I mean the current EPO tests can only tell if you've used the drugs within the past 5-7 days which is no time at all. Do some research people.
You can include Maurice Green, Dennis Mitchell, Jon Drummond and Nick McFalls in the arguement and Regina Jacobs would still be the most drugged up American t&f athlete in history (her only rival is Flo Jo). That's really the end of the story. Ask any elite distance runner is the US, any one, and their answer will be the same - she's been taking drugs for years.
And by the way, Lance is taking a copious amount of drugs as well. He's a fake not an American hero.
Hey you know what... me myself is an athlete and I know exactly what a 39 yr old who runs 3:59 would do pre-during-post race. She would do anything, everything, beforehand to achieve that limit and I dont accuse her of wutsoever directly, but it's just that.. you won't know when a drug test is in the loose.. drug test does not guarantee anything. How many kind of drugs regina is tested? There are hundred of drugs alone that can enhance her performance and WE JUST HAVE TO WAIIITTTT till they (the iaaf ppl) finish their job and yes Regina by no excuse has to be tested.

3. If you think USATF can hush up all of the positive tests, explain to me what happened with Slaney (who some here consider more clean than Regina - huh?) and Mitchell?
This makes her world record as legitimate as any other, perhaps even more so, because they definitely test for more stuff nowadays than they used to years ago.

The point is that she may NOT have ever tested positive. Ben Johnson never tested positive during his entire carear until the Olympic games, and he was on drugs throughout. I already stated this but some can't read I guess. She just gets off the drugs in time for it to clear her system, but keeps all the benefits of the drug and the enhanced training it's allowed her to do. Is it really that hard of a concept?

But you just looked at 2002. If you add in 2001 - when Leeper was only tested 4 times and Regina was tested NINE TIMES - then the total for the two years is thirteen times. Was anyone tested more?

Since Ben Johnson didn't test positive all the time, in fact he only tested positive once at which point he was banned, this means that whoever DOESN"T test positive must ALSO be on drugs.
