Then, according to you, there are ZERO clean USA athletes going to Rio.
I was reading about the testing, and the B sample had no traces of EPO. The A sample had traces of something that was similar but not exactly resembling EPO which possibly could be due to glycoprotein modifications, whatever that means.
Also, the handling of the samples was determined to be faulty, but the B sample, in any case, came back negative.
So who's the actual clean 1500m world record holder? Nick Willis?
5000m? Ben True?

1) I can't believe he said that without evidence.
2) Despite #1, I've always thought we should do an article on the Lagat A positive/B negative.I think there are a lot of people who think like Torrence so a well researched article on the matter would be a worthy addition.
3) I did ask a highly respect author a few years ago about it (A positive for EPO B negative) and I recall correctly he said that it's quite possible that someone can have an A be positive and B negative for EPO. While not an expert of EPO, he certainly didn't think it meant Lagat was an EPO cheat and gave me the names of some experts who would be able to explain it in full.
4) We'll look into doing a story with experts on it as it's wrong to have mud slung on a highly technical issue without expert opinions.

Really? Because mud slinging by non-experts in regards to highly technical issues is pretty much the only thing that happens on these message boards.
The irony is Torrence DIRECTLY worked with someone who was just busted for EPO... Torrence claims he never took anything but his progression would surely refute that claim. So maybe he should point that finger at himself because I'd bet Torrence is more dirty than Lagat and Kiprop combined.

Torrence has never trained with Lagat. He is guessing because he is mad he is not fast enough to run for the USA.

Neither did Lagat. A positive requires positive A plus positive B.
Guess that means Marion Jones is clean by virtue of her negative B sample for EPO, just like Lagat.

Seriously, why is Torrence in Flagstaff with Arciniaga and Mercado when he should be in Peru, living at altitude, live streaming with a couple of llamas. When he's not in Flagstaff, he's prancing around Malibu and Pepperdine.
Some take drugs to get to their Olympic dreams and others take advantage of other countries. If you living the life like Torrence, where you have such limited connection to the country you represent, you just as much a douche as the drug cheat.
