I don't think you know what trolling is. The discussion in this thread (for the most part) hasn't been around where Tesla is locate or whether or not LA sucks.

Do you understand how shorting a stock works? Shorts cleaned up 2 months ago as the stock dropped hard to the 140 range (as low as 135 after hours) after another horrible earnings report. A parabolic rise is a great site for shorts, as it is typically followed by a drop of varying degrees. Over the past 2.5 years, there's been 5-6 great prolonged periods where shorts could've made a fortune in TSLA.

Haha. Yes, I know how shorting works, and I know that when a stock is near its all-time high, shorts are much more likely to be in trouble than to be on the verge of profit.

Tesla short interest is through the roof, and it didn't go down when the stock was (briefly) at $150. It went way up. A lot of shorts are getting margin calls now that the stock has nearly doubled in the past 8 weeks. That means that the pain will very likely get worse before it gets better. If it ever gets better.

Tesla L.A. will make the price and date.

It is nice to see someone actually do a little research before making a statement. You are somewhat correct. The 100 Kw sited is based on "future" supply...not now.

1) Tesla is having difficult as of December last year with Nevada Giga factory.

2) Price of Lithium in China was 40,000 yuan/ton Feb 2015.....March 2016 its now at 160,000/yuan.

3) Beijing Auto Works just bought a huge amount of Lithium this week to protect for shortages currently going on.

Answer to you questions in my "ass-hole" opinion ;)

-Capacitor Technology will improve. Just like anything else good old scale of economy will drive down the cost.

-solar Panel on car= enough to run radio, will improve.

-Regen brakes= will improve.

-Hybrid's..Hydrogen its all good!

However, it's really not ALL about performance 0-100mph in 4 sec....which is pretty cool. It's more like you say about zero emissions & environment. Even if you do not believe in global warming. (Here comes the haters).

China wants EV to put a dent in the awful pollution. I have been going to China since 2003 and have witness the rise in pollution. Even here in France, Paris has odd/even days of driving due to pollution.

Down in Malaysia....ect they want EV's instead of Gas/Diesel.

Closer to home, look at Lake Tahoe and surrounding Ski area's.....no water/snow. No snow/water in resort towns= unemployment and your taxes go up to cover unemployed benefits. No water in Valley= higher food prices....ect. EV/hybrid/Hydrogen create jobs.....just like Mr. Renault/Peugeot/Benz/Ford/Durant/Dodge did 100+ years ago.
