X games are a fake sport like WWF wrestling. They get to make their own rules. So they are under no obligation to test

They aren't scripted with a predetermined winner, so what exactly are you talking about?
so looks like we're actually in agreement. def a no brainer.as far as "get rid of it," I would argue that that's essentially what NFL policy is. nothing more than lip service. if it was run the way it SHOULD be, it would prob cost a lot more (though usada could prob do it much cheaper than nfl is doing it), as they'd actually be targeting guys and doing true ooc testing. IAAF, don't even need to comment on that. usatf, well they may pay for testing but they don't give a sh**, as evidenced by nat'l team staff members.I alluded to the Oly aspect there at end of my post, you're right, they SHOULD be held to ioc/wada standards, as many of the x games events (i'll be honest, I have no idea what events are even held at x games) are probably oly events, with competitors than have been to the games.

By your logic of "don't spend money on stuff that can only cause you negative publicity" then the NFL, IAAF, USATF, etc out to just get rid of drug testing. ESPN owns the X Games. They are a $10 billion company. They should pay for the testing. There are Olympic events in the X Games.
