I tend to agree, but they are asking runners to spend non-fictional money to register and watch a record attempt. And certainly the 10 mile wheelchair record, if there is such a thing, is nowhere close to that. I think they've gone too far for it to be funny when they say "ha, ha, just kidding".
You don't have to enter the race to watch the record attempt. In fact, very few registered runners will actually see her cross the line.
I believe Jill just got married and changed her name to Greathouse. She ran college with a different last name

New Sponsor(Upper Bucks Foot & Ankle Medical Center), If you look at their pages, Jill is one of their friends and is a medical assistant at their practice: Medical Assistant (MA) at Upper Bucks Foot & Ankle Medical Center. She is also friends with the Bob who is posting as Quakertown Rotary.

I have to admit this thread is pretty damn entertaining. Like no one knows who this lady is. No one can find any results for anyone with that name. Supposedly she remarried, but no one can recall anyone named Jill running fast times that would be near AR pace. She works at the same place that is the title sponsor of the race. Her Facebook shows nothing in the way of race pics. This is hilarious and why I love LetsRun.
Yeah, is pretty funny and entertaining. Another interesting thing on her FB page is there are posts during 2012 and then nothing until 2015. All under the same name. I'm not very familiar with FB. Can someone change the name on their account and their page is unaltered except for the name? If she has been Greathouse since 2012 it would be odd to not be able to find any results.

Just checked to make sure. The race is March 5. I was starting to think it was on April 1.
she ran the 5K in college - wasn't a superstar or anything - best time was 17:32
Hmmm, is it the same Jill? She ran a sub 15 5K this fall on a hilly course
