Second, she is most likely not in 4:00 1600 shape. But she is in much closer to 4:00 1600 shape than 1500 shape. 4:00 1600 (NOT mile) is around 3:43.5 for a 1500. So about 6.5 seconds faster than she ran.
Third, she probably ran that workout with men/pacers who could keep up. How fast could she race a 1500 with a pack of men going faster, with even splits all the way? Maybe 3:48 (at worst)?
That workout (6x800 in 2:01 average) is still crazy for a 3:48 1500 runner, but 3:48 is WORLDS apart from 4:00. So the original premise is false and misleading.
How am I doing "a whole lot of twisting of facts" yet you just backed up what I said? Does that mean you are twisting facts a whole lot too?
