I am not sure if WADA or the IAAF could cover up for Mo if they wanted to. GB's anti-doping program is what WADA and the IAAF relies on and GB's program is perhaps second only to the U.S. in terms sophistication and aggressiveness. Mo is also tested frequently by USADA because he spends most of his time in the U.S.. If there was a cover up it for Mo, it would have to happen in GB and the U.S.

3) Seb Coe needs to stop getting paid by Nike. Before this happened I wanted to publish an article "Seb Coe, not Sep Blatter, is paid by Nike" as I had seen articles comparing the two recently. The point being not that Seb is crooked (a lot of people are optimistic with him in charge), but it reeks of amateur hour. No other major sport has a head of it getting paid from a major sponsor. If integrity of the sport is the #1 priority you just don't do it. Hopefully, this will cause him to see the light.

I posted in another thread, but the procedure for NADOs to publicize test results are laid out. I think it was the first IAAF corruption thread.
To Brojo's 1) While I agree right now in firey heat that all A positives should be reported, don't forget that the A-B system exists to protect athletes who are truely clean (really though, how many, 14?). Realistically, if you're looking for corruption, it won't show up in obvious places. An A+, B- would be hidden well enough not to show up in a cursory list.
3) Fukc Yes. This has been a problem from the get-go. The fact that he was voted in to begin with shows how terrible the system is. He was voted in because of his legacy and the promise of "globalizing" track and field. There is a clear benefit to the minority nations, as we see more and more IAAG events in Doha, Shanghai and Beijing. Globalization favors the countries that are willing to pay the extra dollars (pounds?) to have an event in their country, at the expense of the athletes' experience, performance, and the events' identity.
Bubka had a good familiarity with some European federations, Coe won through with the "obscure" nations that could gain from notoriety through TnF exposure: Latin America, Middle East, and SE Asia.

Mo's PR firm carefully prepped him interview where he denied everything. The trouble is that Mo keep looking to the side at keep points. That is an indication of someone looking for a way out. They way business works in the West, the exact opposite will happen. Coe's service contract will go way up in $ from Nike now. Russian has as much influence in the IAAF as America. More news from Russia to follow. You can bet your Bubka on this.

These are all things that would greatly help the sport, but my fear is what if Seb Coe is in on it and the Nike money is actually hush money for certain athletes testing positive, given to Coe publicly under another guise.

Do you really believe this? Have you been to Russia? Do you know how many good Russian journalists have been murdered by goons connected with Putin's security forces? Do you know that most Russian people have no idea that their sons are fighting in Ukraine right now? Basically there is no press left in Russia that reports anything remotely related to the truth. The press in the UK and USA is not always what one would desire, but there is no comparison to the sort of blatant lies that are printed and broadcast in Russia.

That's a great point! It's not like Lance Armstrong ever had a positive test covered up for him. He wasn't nearly as big time or as big a target as Farah. I mean, no way.

The Russian control is much more heavy handed and reflects the old communist style of control. Propaganda is a little more sophisticated in the West, but arguably much more effective considering its finesse.
How much independence actually exists when 6 or fewer major corporations control 90%+ of all media outlets ranging from entertainment to news?
