That's not a fact, it is an opinion, and you support it with no facts except for total sub 4 milers ever, correct?
I think the guy is supported by the facts, at least for the last 10 years, Oregon has been THE school for middle distance runners.

When it comes to academics Oregon is THE school for kids like Maton.

Maton is not the first 19 year old high school athlete and want be the last, roughly 7 percent U.S. schoolers graduate at age 19 and I suspect that percentage is nearly double for star athletes. I understand the concern when it comes to class records or comparing athletes, but as long as he is competing within the rules...get over it.
Clearly there can be a difference based on age, but I love how in a lot of these posts, and in the Week That Was, age is being turned into some kind of absolute number that means the exact same thing across the entire population. Maton being 19 is an advantage over him being 18, but how that compares to every other runner in history is really an unknown. You can't attribute 100% of a time to one variable of many that influences performance.
