I'd be interesting to see their record racing against each other. My impression is that Simpson has won more of those, but that's just my impression.

Rowbuy has talked about working on her confidence.

It's pretty clear Simpson does not lack confidence.

LetsRun mentioned that prior to Monaco, Jenny had 6 wins in a row over Shannon at 1500m.

I never heard any talk about Shannon lacking confidence so that is news to me. She definitely comes off as more humble in her interviews than Jenny though.

I think what has improved most in Shannon this year is her finish. She always got beat in the last 100m in years prior.

Her finish this year has been outstanding.

Couple that with her 14:48 5k strength and it makes sense why she ran such a great race in Monaco

I am pretty sure I saw/read/heard it in an interview with Rowbury, but a quick search doesn't turn anything up. The question she was answering was about things she's learned from the move to NOP.

I didn't take this as a sign of weakness, but of strength. I was impressed enough to think "I should bookmark this." Obviously, I didn't.
