I shopped a 2010 GTR recently. It was almost a daily driver for the guy and had 50k on the odometer and asking 55K? (too much I thought). Anyways, he had a child seat in the back to take his toddler to daycare

Doesn't Centro have 2 international medals and a 4th place? I think he's gone to 3 international championships outdoors and those are his results. How many American distance runners have EVER produced those results? In the past 30 years?
I'm not saying blowing money on a car is a great idea, but if any distance runner has earned his pay with results at intl championships it seems it should be him, followed closely by Rupp.
On a side note, maybe an accountant can comment here, but could Centro write any of this off on the basis that the car supports his image and marketability, part of which supports his salary/contract negotiations? Too much of a stretch?

IN OTHER WORDS- Centro will be a regular Joe soon enough. He may very well wish he didn't spend $100K+ on a car. Especially given he was a Sociology Major. The "you only live once" is a reply no one past HS should make.
It's the B&O tax that kills independent professionals and small businesses in the state of Washington. It's not as bad a California though where the Santa Clara 49ers was given a FREE $1B stadium from the City of Santa Clara.
