Rupp is doing something that might not be illegal now, but one day will be banned. I'd put my career on it, ala Blood doping in the 70's. No one and I mean no one can run that base type high mileage AND do intense speed with such little recovery, without breaking down. Its beyond fishy, its almost beyond speculation, and its obvious that they are flouting the rules. Its likely to do with what is being made out to be the science of it all, including the chemists and medics that make up such a big part of the NOP, the thyroid medication, the allergy medication and the other nutrients and supplements Salazar has these guys on. The sickest part of it all is its being backed by Nike, the same guys who backed the abuse of the 80's and 90's. History always repeats.
I wish some of you could understand how it looks to athletes in my country and how it makes us view american athletes. If you did, and cared about the US's reputation, let alone our sport, you would not support Rupp. I feel sorry for those American athletes who trained hard and fair and perform amazingly on the world scene - I feel sorry them because so many of us HAVE TO question their integrity. Why? Because of tradition and because of Salazar.
Is it legal? Maybe, for now... Is it ethical and aligned to the ethos of our beautiful sport? Not in my book.

There is always new crap out there. Just look at justin gatlin. Does anyone really think he's not doping. He broke the AR when he was on drugs. Gets banned, and now is back and faster now than he was when he was dirty. I don't believe that his copper spandex gear is really helping him that much.

Long before Lance was ever busted, people like Emma Roberts, Mike Anderson, and Betsy Andreu had the balls to speak out specifically about their experiences with Armstrong and drugs.
