Absolutely. People just don't run low 1.43 like that these days (not saying they can't - Rudisha for one surely could), but it's so impressive watching that.

that is an amazing performance - haven't seen it in a long time. In fact, I'd say Cram only really strides out at 300m and then properly gets going with 200m to go. He could have gone sub-1.43 for sure that day.

Note also the pause on the first backstretch to "fix his hair".
