Kevin Hadsell Denies The Deadspin Allegations

Talk to someone who didn't get kicked of the team squire.

Do you dispute his statements? And if so, what is the motivation for several unconnected people to all tell the same lie and without prior coordination?

Do you share all of your college experiences with your parents? Of course not. You know that parents would not approve of under age drinking and sex. Even if you are having fun doing what you know they would not approve of.

Now what happens when one of your friends tells your parents about all the fun youv'e been having? You are pissed at that friend and you deny deny deny.

That is the situation in Toledo. All of these athletes are being questioned by their parent. Little Suzy "Did Coach Hadsell supply you guys with alcohol or did he ever act like a creeper to you" the answer is easy and convenient but not the truth. "of course not Dad, Emma is crazy".

EVERYONE KNOWS THAT IT HAPPENED.

Name names. It is that simple. Let their credibility determine if their story is true. The guy is gone. What are you people afraid of? If your source was booted then he would have a motive to jump on bandwagon after reading deadspin. If he is so credible, print his name and give an example of someone underaged hadsell bought booze for. Call that person and confirm it.

The only people using real names are ones sticking up for him like his team.

Being that you were in a relationship with Hadsell while you were still running for Toledo, it's interesting that you're not the slightest bit open minded to any of these allegations being true.

Pretty interesting that all of the Hadsell defenders' posts on the previous threads were like, "Yeah, he started dating Caitlin, BUT ONLY AFTER SHE WAS DONE." as if this were common knowledge. There are only a few people posting in his defense, and they generally repeated this statement as part of the "real story." It's funny now that Hadsell has decided even that is too shady, and he's denying that. Funny that all of a sudden, the girls posting in his defense have changed their story, because Hadsell wanted them to. Even if Emma's story is exaggerated, we should know that Hadsell now is also likely to lie to cover his *ss too. He isn't going to be forthcoming about something relatively unprovable that could get him into deeper sh*t.

There is no credibility on this forum, but I'll say this anyway. I've been around Emma many, many times. She is mild-mannered and not particularly flirtatious. She displays no psycho qualities that I've ever seen. Not even a hint. And the Hansons always wanted her; they just didn't want the reputation of stealing athletes from programs when they still have eligibility. She always had a spot at Hansons (in June, if nothing else), because everyone at Hansons has always liked her (including right now). That, I assure you, is a fact.

So because you said there were several unconnected people we are all supposed to believe you? The several people you are talking to are people who got kicked off the team or are disgruntled because they wished they had taken running more seriously while they were at Toledo.

It's clear you have a hard-on for Andrea and dislike Hadsell. You claim in your blog you were just going along with his Coffee Talk episodes. That's a load of BS. You could have stopped at any time if you didn't agree with the guy or didn't want anything to do with him. What a poor excuse.

You also claim that Hadsell contacted you Feb. 14 and you released this article Feb. 16.... Why not contact Hadsell back and tell him you were going to write your blog about the "Toledo Scandal"? Your article was completely biased because you heard that he was talking to credible sources like the Blade and Will Kunkel. You were pissed and offended he didn't go to you first. That's what this is really all about.

Don't bash Letsrun because you aren't happy with what is being posted Emma.

Man, I can't believe the wacko (s) are still out posting about this crap. If I was a recruit, I would want nothing to do with any of the people from Toledo. Stop posting crazy people! This has gone past being fun to follow.

I am sick of all the he-said she said ....enough people!!! Hadsell is GONE!!!! Some of you(and I am sure it's the same people on both sides) posting over and over just don't get it. You are only hurting the innocent people in all of this by continuing your Jersey Shore mentality.it just doesn't matter who did what to who. It will be settled in civil court from here on and not on this board. So go do something constructive with your free time instead of commenting on a dead issue.

I can't decide if jsquire is as much of a moron as everyone else here for posting that photo of Hadsel in the t-shirt or if he's just a troublemaker who is smart enough to know the rest of the l.r. gang wouldn't have the brains to see that the shirt was obviously a souvenir from a town with a ha ha name. Probably both. It would be one thing a coach was seen around town grinning and wearing a shirt that said "I Love Negros, Everyone Should Own One" or "I heart Chicks with Dicks" but if he was on a road trip WITH the team and posed for a kid on the team to take it...he kind of looks like a tool but not as bad as the people who are horrified cause they didn't see the "PA" part.

Emma get over yourself.

The relationship between "cAitLIn" and Hadsell was not common knowledge, but it was speculated and confirmed in the fall. Between finding out about this situation and knowing his track record with his athletes you will be hard pressed to find more than a few supporters of him at this time.

I'm sure that the investigation and media storm have caused jealousy and reason for his girlfriend to question the stability of their relationship. At this point I imagine the best way for her to have a voice, but still remain anonymous is through incessantly barking on threads like these (WOOF).

I know Emma to be a well respected young lady who does not make decisions based on emotion, but rather upon logic. I think she is very brave for being the first athlete in 15 years to come forward and stand up for herself and in turn all female toledo runners.
