Nothing great but...
Saw Alan Webb run 3:59.49 for 3rd place indoor at the NYC Armory in the early 2000's. He kept cranking out 29.'s like a machine. The guy who came in 4th ran 3:59.99 which blew my mind.
Also seeing meet officials stop Joe (or was it Jim?) Rosa with a lap to go in the 3200 at the NJ State Meet of Champs a couple of years ago because of lightning. He went through 2800m in 7:38 and in my opinion would have easily broken the state record of 8:44. The race never should have started; the weather was already bad and clearly getting worse.
