PRoFlo isn't the problem. The problem is the sport lacks any spectator value. I'd pay if I was signing up to see the best in America and the world compete against each other on a predictable schedule

I have emailed you and asked you to have a debate on Flotrack Pro.......... But you have said No. Typical Letsrun fashion. Write from behind your computer, but when asked to come out from the shadows you are no where to be found. I think this debate would be great and it would let the community decide the merits of what we are doing.
I am not hiding:

If we wanted to know what you think, we'd be on Flotrack.
Agreed. Sent a message to Mark asking him to stay off the board with his worthless drivel - anyone else who thinks this thread is stupid should do the same.
Wow, just wow. That Mark guy lost it and made a video for everybody to see it. What a crybaby. Completely unprofessional and douchey.

If you haven't. Seen Mark's video where he 'challenges' Wejo, you should go watch it. I've lost all respect for Mark and Flocast. This can be nothing more than an attempt to generate hits on flocast.
Pathetic behavior or his part.

The guy in that video who isn't Mark pisses me off a bit, I do not know why, I just don't like him.
Yes you do. It's the ludicrous hair. He reminds me of the guy who plays Sean Garrity on "Rescue Me."
The unfortunate thing is that without the calling-out-Letsrun bullshit, it might have been a solid if overstated promo, a means of convincing people why $20 a month is worth it -- the hour-long Cam Levins feature, etc. Instead, they come off like a couple of guys who have watched too many WWE events and are trying to imitate the announcers' style or a pair of recently released psych patients who neglected to fill their lithium prescriptions and filmed themselves at the height of a shared manic episode.

+1. Finally, someone else gets it.
Mark,
You have done the unthinkable. Sunk way lower than anything Letsrun has ever done. That was just pathetic and painful to watch. How incredibly unprofessional.
I've never been a big flotrack user, but always had a very positive view of them and what they do. I've been impressed.
Wow did that image completely change in my mind after seeing that video, this thread and those E-mails. I'm shocked to see how unprofessional and amateur you, your staff and the site really is. You realize, the people paying the $20 a month are going to be those in this thread and those watching the video. Methinks this is a very, very bad move on your part.
Plus, debate you on WHAT? I think Wejo only ever said what EVERYONE was already thinking and discussing. Don't you read the boards? Your pricing is clearly off. You want to debate that? Why debate, just let the numbers speak for themselves. If you guys are doing things so right, come blow us away with the numbers of people signing up for this FloPro thing and that will shut us up? I'm guessing this is going to be a flop, even more so after this embarassing drama, and that will be the answer in this debate.
While I am not a vindictive person, I hope your site fails, so a new one, with some actual decent human beings has a chance to do it right and represent our sport.
I think Wejo is handling himself professionally about this, although I think suggesting email is rather immature--like breaking up via text message, but I think Mark is 100% right in what he's saying.
That Pro content looks amazing. Stop being cheap and expecting stuff for free. There might be some debate on the price for all I know, but it shouldn't be free. There's a lot of money and a lot of resources that's going into that Pro content.
I'm on the fence, but think I might pull the trigger and go Pro.
What if PRoFlo went to a $5 daily fee. Wouldn't you want to check it out especially on a big meet day. $5 would be worth it.
The idea isn't bad the pricing is off so far.
Maybe this whole debate idea is just a way for FloJoes to get a focus group together of running nerds to figure out what's the problem with PRoFlo

have you watched run junkie? this sort of thing is their editorial style. It's not like they are usually walter cronkite and then pulled this pro wrestling thing out of their caps. This is what they think is fun.
I agree with run junkie - that series is fun - I laugh out loud sometimes.
Did anyone else think mark came across power tripping like Tony Montana strung out on coke?
"In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women."

Is it just my shitty computer or can anyone else never get flotrack videos to load?
Not just you. Their vidoes take forever to load and their site in general is very slow. Sometimes I have to refresh a video 3 times before it will load properly and even then it's glitchy. Maybe this is their marketing strategy so they get more page hits since I have to keep reloading the page?
Why did Mark disappear for like 2-3 years? Back now for the money?
I don't know why I can't stop laughing at this post!
I was surprised I didn't have to pay to watch that video.
This is crazy. I won't be subscribing to Flotrack Pro simply because I can't afford it, but there's no reason to lash out at the Flotrack guys. They provide a great glimpse of our sport that we wouldn't otherwise get and are entitled to try and make as much money as possible off their site.
Having said that, there was no need to lash out at the Brojos, who provide another important service. This whole "controversy" isn't helping anything.
Maybe they could do a little porn on the side? Take some of the sting from the $20. Specialty fetishes, I'd suggest.

All the trolls on letsrun are going to be jumping around tonight like a scene out of LOTR now that their master-orc has been challenged to battle by an elvish-clan.
For some reason I just can't stop laughing at this.
The flotrack guy is so desperate. It's pathetic. Calling out wejo for nothing? Basically attacking letsrun? flotrack is pathetic. It's a joke. Weldon is more successful than the flotrack guy, he was a better athlete, his website is better and he can buy and sell that idiot too.
Wejo shouldn't have even responded to that idiot.
The interview with Andre Hernandez is the only content worthy of a price tag on that entire joke of a website.
The little guy beside you looks like a puppet.
