I am SO PROUD of these two women, it takes a lot of guts to lead the olympic trials. I really hope it works out for one of them. Eventually Lucas or Huddle is going to take over and push the pace because they won't want it to come down to a kick. If Williams and Conley can keep up this pace for 3k I thnk they have a real chance.

D'Agostino has a pretty bad case of openmouth.

A 74.5 fourth lap brought them through in 4:58.8 at 1600. Everyone was still in the hunt.

Soon after the mile, Williams took control again. 2K was hit in 6:13.1 so the second kilo was right around 3:06.

Conley took the lead again and now Huddle moved into second with Julie Culley in third, Williams in fourth and Kellyn Johnson in fifth. As they hit halfway, everyone was still in the hunt, with no one dropped.

Lucas to lead with 3 to go. that lap was about 72. The winners will be under 15:20. Lucas has a 5 meter lead.

Huddle, Culley,Maloy and then D'Agostino.

The girls in 4-4-5-6- only need 2:20 for the AA. they should get that.

Top 3 should go.

That was the greatest 5K finish ever! The Dartmouth girl got the A by .02 but came in 5th!

Not that Ian Dobson was a factor in the men's race anyway, but I don't know how you go out and race your best after watching that, if you're him.

talk about your all time back fires..lucas doesn't take that out with 3 laps to go and she is on the team by default!!! courageous but dumb!

After watching how well she raced, I think I'll try it.
