This dropped him from a 3 seed to an 8 seed, which jumbled the heats a bit. Shouldn't matter in the first round.

It looks weird to see Russell Brown as the #2 seed, but he is faster than Centro and has run faster than Wheating over the last year and Lomong and Lagat are not in it.

They can enter whatever qualifying time they want. Their seed time has to be from this year.

When did Centro run 3:34.46 this year?

Does anyone know if there is a way to watch the prelims online? I'm guessing that since NBC Sports coverage begins at 9:00 eastern we'll be lucky to catch the last 15 meters of each race.
