from this site it looks like they only have 4 runners, but this is the elite subset of a much larger local running club that also has some fine runners (2:20s marathon)

Doesn't list standards, but you can see some of their results there.

Have a pretty wide range in 10k results form 28 mid to 29 mid. Some OT marathon qualifiers too with half marathon times.

if anyone comes on here and tries to authoritatively tell you they have the inside scoop on this group or that group and that they know the differences, well, they are a liar.

No one can truly compare unless they have gone through two or three groups and if they have, you have to wonder about the veracity of their information or their objectivity.

Consider the source. Some of their claims may have a morsel of truth to them, but their describing situations that happened to them may be ancient history...something that happened 5 years ago and would have little to do with the situation in the here and now. Only a couple people on this thread so far have given you the truth, i.e. Tom Derderian with GBTC.

Everyone else is just spreading rumors and making up stuff.

Like buying a used car and hearing the owner tell you it was a great car 10 or 20 years ago.

You have the state's best talent? You must have missed the NJNYTC formation while you were playing around at the Club Track Champs.
