That or they are not as passionate about the sport either or what entails to really run fast. As a hobby jogger myself (with little more experienced now and having a competitiveness nature, I can and do appreciate the fast runners. Just like I can appreciate anyone who works hard to reach their goals whether it be in running or in their careers. With that said, to the poster who complained about us hobby joggers wearing "new shoes", "outfits", etc...why does it bother you? I like looking my best even if I am sweating my ass off. It's good for the running business, right? I mean c'mon, it would be awfully boring to go to a running store and only have one kind of singlet, shorts and one brand of shoes.
