The only athlete I don't want to see nude is the bowler. There's no way that's a work of art.
How about Chris Solinsky or Nick Symmonds, both of whom actually look healthy instead of skeletal. Being 20% underweight might be the norm for a top flight marathoner but it's not very nice to look at, IMHO.

Alot of tall skinny american cross country runners could be international male models.

You are joking right?...please tell me you are...yes, male super models are "slender" but typically have muscle tone...they don't look like a corpse... Plus, just because one is skinny doesn't make them a super model. You need a face!...if one just needed to be skinny, all the meth and crack heads would be super models.

Hall actually has decent muscle tone and he is not as thin as a lot of distance runners. His problem is that he is ghostly pale and good thing it's not the "Face" issue.

Considering the nature of the issue, I do find fault with Hall's acceptance. The section is titled: "Bodies We Want" and this idea is in direct opposition of Psalm 23: "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." Hall's participation will condone a multitude of negative viewpoints, such as lust. Will men and women purchase the magazine to see nudity? The answer is obviously yes, as this is something the swimsuit issue capitalized on quite well.
His pastor should be calling him out on this. So should his wife...and more importantly, his conscience.

As for the Ryan Hall pic, I believe it's the same one my daughter has hanging on her door. We saw and met him a while back at a local running store. He signed the poster size pic. It's rated G...;)

Alright guys.... Have you ever seen "The Bodies" issue? This is not exactly the paint-on swimsuit edition of SI. Some of the pictures are just of particular parts of peoples bodies. I get the magazine and they had one of this NFL's guys hand that was all mangled, one of a guys calf, and one of just a guys bicep that was flexed. It is probably something like that. All this fuss will probably just result in a picture of his flexed calf or something.
