This isn't USAs. Kicks like Centro's are standard-issue in the finals, and there's at least half a dozen guys in the race who can close faster than him off of faster paces than he's run all year. He already achieved his dream by making the final. A medal is a delusion.

Farah lives and trains in Oregon. Yhe comment had nothing to do with citizenship, but rather a response to idea that Oregon runners/athletes never step up.

Kiplagat is the only runner I don't see Centro beating. Kiprop is possibly the worst tactical runner ever, Willis has looked awful so far and barely made the final, Laalou, Mekonnen & Kamel aren't in the final. If something is off with Kiplagat, Centro winning isn't a huge surprised.
