Points some are missing:
Lebron had weak fourth quarter performances in the finals but in many games including the playoffs he has been a strong finisher so yes he does want to win.
Lebron's teammates, including the bench, are very good. Lebron dominate presence often takes teammates out of their rythm and they don't play as well.
Lebron's sense of being a basketball king before he even won anything put an expectancy on himself from himself that created pressure and tension that surfaced at times and killed his energy.
Dallas defence was great.

I am no Lebron fan. However 20 years from now Lebron will have a similar legacy to Wilt Chamberlain. Wilt had a bad reputation with the public and was seen as a selfish player who couldn't get it done when it counted most. Even though his talent was enormous.
Now though we revere Wilt and see him as one of if not the best player of all time. Even though he only won two championships. Which by the way were with two different teams.
As time goes by Lebron hate will fade away (except for maybe in Cleveland, but who cares about them anyway). Lebron will probably win a couple of championships. Then eventually the argument will be who was the best ever? Wilt, Jordan, Kobe, or Lebron?
