Solinsky, maybe. But the one runner I would really like to see moving up is Mo Farah. This is probably his best distance, and the weak competition in London on Monday didn't let him show the true form he's in right now. Has Salazar not commented on him?
pretty excited to see Tadese in a good 10km again, depending on what shape he is in he could break the WR.
Mo Farah has stated he's only running the 5000 in Daegu, so I'm not sure running a fast 10,000 6 days after racing in Europe is worth his while.
I'm curious about Tim Nelson's pacing--for whom and for how long? His 5,000 PR is 13:20. Tadese probably wants a faster half split than that.

Rono, the other pace guy, is one of the best pace men in the business so he'll likely be trying to go 5k or more. But it is unrealistic to think he can just clip along at somewhere between 13'10 and 13'30 without any help so you put another pacer, nelson, in to pace the pacer Nelson will likely try and go as far as he can to get a good effort for himself but the race director is probably hoping for 3k or so.

It could be interesting--Nelson's 3K PR is 7:48 (admittedly soft). 8:00 for 3K is 26:40 10K pace, so he'll likely be running close to a PR just to fulfill his duties. Probably not the ideal for what you want in a pacer.
When Rupp ran 27:08 keep in mind he lead most of it. I think he'll definitely get under 27 with this kind of competition and this big of a stage.

Within 10 seconds, or beats his own pr. With this field Rupp "should" be able to get at least a new pr. But this is Rupp, allergy excuse already firmly in place.

That they ran extremely well recently? Yes i would agree that those performances do indicate a good fitness level.

Looking at the field, and of course depending on what shape the various entrants are in, I could see Rupp getting into the top 10 in this race.
Nelson ran 27:30s just a month ago, so I'm sure he'll be fine setting a 26:30s pace through just 3k.
Solinsky is going to be in the race. But shhhh, don't tell... you will find out in a few days :)
