Coe's run was more tactically inept than his Moscow 800. He ran wide in lane 2 for most of race, and was too far behind cram at the bell when the race really heated up. You can't give someone of crams talent that much of an advantage, in such a slow race. He should have learnt that from overt in 80. Sometimes the best runner doesn't win.
