Lee Berube 14:30 solo at Geneseo this weekend, season opener.
do you think he can win nationals?
Haverford puts Carpenter and Hulleberg at 14:25 and 14:26, respectively. Also their sophomore with a ridiculous name ran a 3:50.
Schmidt from Middlebury also 14:27.
Williams has Brian Cole run 3:52 and Koima run 14:32.
You left out the best performance from Friday at Princeton:
2 Scheetz, Ben Amherst 1:48.71
jackie guevel from cmu is absurd. destroyed the UAAs this weekend.

Apparently this too:
Davies, Jack Middlebury 8:52.00 9:01.28N
Plus some good D3 female results too.
http://www.tumeytiming.com/Outdoor_2011/Larry_Ellis/Friday_Real_Time_Results/A whole lot of d3 guys ran 9:20 in high school. I can't think of anyone who broke 9. But I know plenty of d3 coaches who consider it a bad recruiting class if they don't get anybody sub 9:20. You've just got to understand that 9 minutes isn't a big deal in college. Nobody races a 3200 but lots of d3 guys could go sub 9. When nationals gets won in 14:35, it gets won by a guy who can run close to 4flat in the mile doubling up from 1500 more often than not. I think a 9:20 kid coming into d3 should expect to make nationals his freshman year, but it won't happen every time and expecting to win is ignorance.
The argument for going d3 as a 9:20 guy is that you can spend four years actually competing: year 1 at conference level, year 2 in some bigger meets, maybe have an outside shot at AA, year three higher up, year four put yourself in it to win something. Now, of course, most high school males who have broken 10 think of this as their trajectory at their DI dream school, so there's that.

Yeah Boots & Cramer posting 1500m Auto's with pretty impressive times. Clement in the 800m as well.
Coby Horowitz of Bowdoin ran a 8:58 3200 last spring as a high school senior. And no, he didn't make nationals as an individual (although he did go as part of Bowdoin's DMR).

Surprising that Boots, Cramer and Davies were the only Autos of the meet. Lee of Midd came close also. So Midd gets 2 of the 3 Autos and then next closest, pretty amazing!

Middlebury also had a woman very close to auto in steeple.
Don't forget Annie Dear of Williams in the 5k. Very impressive run for her!
Just looking through I saw two women from Lebanon Valley hit provisional qualifiers at Princeton with one being a freshman in the 800. 2:14 for a freshman at this time of the year is pretty quick and it seems like she is the fastest freshman in the country right now. Where is this school I haven't heard of them before?

For D3 it is. And it was a big PR for Annie.

it's in the second best state in DIII (after WI), PA.
Ricky Flynn still has eligibility right?
Pretty sure that PA sucks compared to NY, just sayin'
You can say it all you want, you're still wrong.
