Even though you weren't replying to me, this I agree with. Dathan has way more talent than Brian, but to date, Brian has done more with his ability over the marathon distance than Dathan has and that is a fact. Dathan has not run near his potential over 26.2 miles but will soon.

Kara will win this race because she is in a better place mentally than Ms. Davila. She is now a mother and has greater balance than she previously had in her life. Salazar is as close as we get to an American icon in the sport of marathoning. All of you cowards that put him down on this board would stand in line for his autograph.

The cool thing is that these 2 women will be watched more than the Ryan Hall freak show. There is not much happening with the women at the world level right now so Boston did a good thing to bring in these 2 women. I am interested and I hate womens running.

I think the flaw in your thinking is a combination of the post hoc fallacy, anchoring, confirmational bias, mere exposure effect, clustering illusion, hindsight bias, overconfidence effect, recency effect, and probably many other well studied cognitive biases and illusions.

Honestly, you take pride in your ability to read? I think you didn't understand the people posting because you're to fixated on yourself. The point seems to be, don't compare Paula to Kara, and personally I agree. Just because Paula ran and won New York certainly doesn't mean Kara will run and win Boston. I back up any poster who says that and I too would bet on it in a heartbeat. Desi will finish in front of Kara.

The bottom line is that Desi will beat Kara by 4 minutes PLUS.

When Kara loses (and she will) all of the moron Nike idiots that lick Alberto's balls, in spite of the fact that he can't coach the marathon, will tell us that it is just because Kara is coming back from her pregnancy.

Ok , lets bet , $100 US dollars. If Desi is 4 min. ahead at the finish line I pay you $100. DNF does not count. If Kara is ahead at the the finish line , no time gap , you pay me $100. If Desi wins overall , I pay you $100 , no matter the gap over Kara. If its a win for Desi , and 4 min, you double dip $ 200 is paid.
