It's how you run those miles is what matters. One might be running speedwork, the other not. So it's possible one gets 14:00 5K and the other 17:00. Me. I ran a 13:48 on track on 48 miles a week but lots of speedwork. Another time I ran a 14:55 on 65 miles a week but no speedwork.
Yes, we know..this is just a statistical study on average miles to average times..that is all..plus, it also depends if its 800m guys running a 5k or a marathoner..he just wants mileage with PR times that is all..if he wanted extreme detail he would ask to full training plans..u understand, yes
