German Fernandez will finish ____ at NCAAXC

The problem was not understanding what 100% meant it was that your writing didn't make any sense mainly because you wrote "thing" instead of "think" and because your sentence structure was crazy.

1. 100% healthy

I just kinda figured everyone would know what 100% meant, since everyone talks about GF being healthy and everyone knows how young he is. It will be hard for him to beat SC.

There are a whole lot of folks who graduate from high school having been a big shot in their school, in their county or in their state who imagine themselves to be truly talented and headed for the Olympics. Then, when reality shows up and they never quite make it to the next level most of them adjust to the fact that they really never were so talented.

Unfortunately some never come to grips with this and look for someone to blame. If only their college coach had known what he was doing they would have been world beaters. They would have won that Olympic medal and spent the rest of their lives hanging out in bars telling everyone how awesome that were.

According to Colby Lowe and the OK State web site, GF is scheduled to run. I doubt we'll see anything spectacular though - most likely it will be pack running with an emphasis on figuring out who their #s 4 - 7 are.

I don't understand how some of you keep writing off Chelenga. He is clearly the most talented in the field.

I seriously doubt anyone here is writing off Chelanga. Everyone knows he is the favorite and it would be a monumental upset if anyone other than Chelanga won.

It is just that there is no fun in stating the obvious - Chelanga is going to win. Better/funner to imagine some college-aged American winning.

So why didn't the guy who interviewed Colby Lowe just interview Fernandez? No offense to Lowe, he had a great CC season last year, and should be solid this year.

I'd like to know when Fernandez officially recovered from his anemia, and how long he's had to do full on training. That information would be far more useful than this thread.

If Fernandez has been healthy since early summer, then I predict he and Chelanga and Derrick will fight it out, and German end up 2nd behind Chelanga.

Don't know how the team running factors in when both Lowe and Fernandez let Mecheso run away from them.
