This is definitely bad. When the video does work, it appears to be about 3 frames per second - it is like watching a really bad animation.
One saving grace is at least we don't have to listen to the awful commentary. In the little blips of working video that I have had, the commentary seems to be the usual junk.
Can someone tell me who the guy was that had the very early lead in the men's race first few miles? Some guy who ran San Jose. What happened to him?

No, I critically estimated Hall's current half pace to be slower than 62:19, or 2:05:38 marathon pace. I'm also pissed off and trying to criticise things.

Of the professional runners among you, how many of you go to every race to win? Or, do you choose your battles and instead use some races as: testing grounds for various racing strategies; nutrition options; feeling out a nagging injury... this list goes on.

Maybe you should simply switch over to the finish line camera.
Stupid commentator just made an excuse for Hall - "He is coming down from altitude, he'll be fine." Umm, you don't have a period of recovery time after you come back from altitude, that is when you should be physiologically primed to race at sea level. It may be different for a 5K or mile, when the altitude prevents fast interval training, but I am sure Ryan was able to train at half marathon pace and faster up there and not lose his neuromuscular adaptations to running fast... Jeez.
I'm a big Hall fan, but seriously, that was a bad... What next, he didn't race well because he's finishing a taper?
