At least I have the decency to admit that I'm from Ohio and am very biased on the subject. If I were from Miami I'm sure I'd be singing a different tune but you have to admit that the way he went about deciding and announcing his "decision" was a terrible move for his public image. If he wanted to give back to the B&G Club he could have donated some of that 90 million he got from Nike.

He will more than make up the difference if he performs better in Miami than he did in Cleveland. Those suggesting he was giving up money by doing this don't understand how pro athletes at that level really make their money. It's all about the endorsements.
PS: there is no state income tax in Florida... anyone care to look up the rate in Ohio? Not a minor point when you're dealing with money that large.
