I am not afforded this luxury yet; however, I am looking forward to it. I have read some good posts on this thread that I agree with.
I believe that when I live alone I will enjoy cooking and drinking alone or watching t.v. and/or funny movies while drinking alone and laughing loudly by myself.
Also, would it be considered drinking alone if I drink and then play xbox while trash talking the kids over the internets?
I think it will be much more relaxing being able to drink alone; there is no social pressure. There is 3 things that I have not mastered about drinking with others and it causes me some stress.
1. When two groups/clicks invite you to their separate outings. It is stressful explaining that you already made prior plans; they always get on your case. Also, if you go to one for just a bit; they give you a hard time when you leave.
2. This is my biggest stressor I think. Leaving and saying goodbyes. I never know, if its a large group, who are the people that I should say goodbye to outside of the host, and who it's ok to skip. I usually end up staying until the end just so there are less people to which I must say goodbye.
3. I just don't like people being so judgemental when I am just trying to have a good time.
