The best post ever, which may have been on the T&F email server back in the stone age, was Schiefer fighting with Dwight Stones. I recall Schiefer telling stones that he could buy him and his family and throw them out on the street.
I think Stones responded by asking how many gold medals Schiefer had. Or maybe that's what started the fight. Either way, it was an online battle the likes that this site has not seen.
Oh Malmo come back. I know that there are hosts of jack of asses on here, but we miss you. Bring back your knowledge, sense of history and biting sarcasm!

me and my watch AKA Max Harn -- by and far the most heinous, ridiculed and controversial poster that LR has.
I support almost everyone already mentioned, but remember posts by Jim Spivey about training in London with Sebastian Coe as being the single most memorable of the decade. I also always appreciated Johnny Rotten's and Martin X's posts for being smart and helpful. And has anyone nominated "wineturtle"? Others came and went, but he seems to have been consistently engaged through the decade.
Also, who posted the original Breaking up by Power Point thread? Gorney or Gorly or something? That guy's a hero, flat out.
Finally, was it Scatman Crothers who compiled the monthly LetsRun readers' PB lists? That guy should be given a medal, too.
