good mile for a freshman boy

I recently ran a 5:04 in our first meet and I am a freshman. What would be a good end-of-season goal

now look at newburry park - 14 years later

all running almost sub 4 in the mile, ran 16:30 for mile x 4

you wanna break 5. But it’s been 11 months so I’m assuming you have. The best thing is to just push in the race, 10 seconds of pain is worth it, because otherwise you’ll feel 10 days of regret. You can catch faster people, just find someone who’s faster than you and beat them. You’ll run better when you have someone to catch/catching you.

is a 5:03 frosh mile good for no cross country or winter track?
