As I said before, Harding has the potential to be very, very strong. I cannot see how Mines or Mankato beats them--on paper! Of course, the paper is sometimes wrong and that is why we run the races.
New regional rankings are out and some interesting changes:
Slippery Rock "slips" to fifth in the Atlantic...Reagan set a new course record and the team ran second to Cal-PA in the opener...hmmm, will the home team miss nationals...I don't think so.
NM Highlands drops all the way to seventh in the Central--despite a pretty strong showing in their first race...Ngirakamaro and Kazingo will be a strong 1-2.It appears their #4 ran unnattached.
Drury jumps way up in the Midwest...after winning some little meet they have won before (6000 meter race?)...
In the South--who the hell is Christian Brothers?? No pun intended..
In the West, Alaska Anchorage moves into the top three after beating Edinboro in the first meet of the season...two new Kenyans and a fast Alaska kid will get them to nationals this year.
