Does anybody have a schedule of events for the Indoor Nationals Meet? It would be easier for me to make predictions if I could seea list of when each race will be run. Thanks.
Marcus, I will drop kick you.
In the sprints I really think Montez Poe can take the 55.
Nipples? I like tatters!
Completely other topic, but do you think NYU (or somebody) will ever host DIII indoor Nationals? The Armory is a helluva track facility...
If the NCAA pays for lodging, I could see why they might have an objecction--hotel space in Manhattan can be rawther expensive--but if they also reimburse for travel expense, that should balance things out a bit: no connecting flights to get from Punxsutawney to Dover Bend, etc.
Of course I realize they (the NCAA) like to have the meet on a campus, but doesn't NYU say that the City is their campus? Just a thought.
D3 champs can only be on flat tracks
Why is that?
DIII...
It's pretty risky for Butlzer to sit on his time, NCAA can get screwy with how many they take. Plus with that many guys right at 4:14, I am sure this weekend at Whitewater or Iowa State there will be a run at it.
Is there a meet at StevensPoint? McConnell won CCIW mile, but slow time.
I believe there is a meet in Stevens Point on Saturday.
uh peter kosgei from hamilton not more of a lock in the mile?
let's recap last weekend within 24 hours he anchored a DMR in 4:03 (2:03-2:00) ran the mile in in 4:10 (2:09-2:01) then ran a 2:27 1000m closing in 26 for his last lap.
GET REAL people.
I have seen some solid locks in the past come do a sad realization at Nationals. The top seeds have the Bulls Eye on their backs while the others just behind him and kick...pretty much saying they have nothing to loose and a lot less pressure. Plus he could have peaked early, so many variables. All I am saying is that anyone can win, don't count anyone out.
There is a meet Saturday up at Point. And McConnell seemed to only go for the win. He really just hung out in the way back of the pack for the beginning of the race and just made his way up. He definitely should be able to run faster than 4:17 if he wants to.
What about girls any predictions on that...
I looks like the Mile at Whitewater is going to be fast... Butler, Phillipi, and McConnell are all in there.

Generally a safe bet that there will be a rabbit in there too.
Is it possible that Kosgei would run the 800, mile, and 5k indoors? I know that it sounds a bit absurd, but the guy did run a 4:03 mile, a 4:10 mile, and a 2:27 1000 in a 24 hour period. I doubt he would do it as well, but he seems to have more range (800, mile, Steeple, 5k, Cross) then Macharia Yuot.
What do you all think?
I just don't think that's possible with the time schedule of the meet. I think he has the range and ability to win the 800 -5k indoors and the 800 - 10k outdoors, but the way championship meets are designed he's going to have to pick and choose which events he wants to go after.
Wondering... wrote:

I think that Kosgei should quit wasting his time at Hamilton and transfer to a DI program. A sophomore threatening to win 2-3 indoor titles off 50 mpw? Give me a break.
