have you ever been to a reunion? you'll see two guys at every reunion..one said he wanted to compete in college and he does - he pays the price and actually...does it...and has some cool achievements...and is content with what he accomplished..he fought the good fight and didn't just talk.

the 2nd guy - usually buzzed or drunk - is telling everyone how good he couldve been...if he had wanted to...if he hadn't...hurt his whatever....just talk...never had the courage to try ...never did...jack.

i am the first guy...you sound like you were the second guy.

good luck and for those who believe in reality...bo was a great athlete...just not superman

Let me guess, in this scenario you are the cool one and Bo Jackson is the jealous one.

You wouldn't survive 1 minute on a pro NFL team. You're body would be crushed in a million places and youd have cns trauma, pissing yourself a little when you ever saw a football game on tv

send me where i said bo was a 'garbage athlete'...his own coach said bo wanted to pussout on the 1500 cuz he was skeered...his coach said that..not me...don't forget to send me where i said bo was a garbage athlete - he was strong in his 2 sports...not every sport known to mankind

It's hard to understand your need to tear down an athlete who was so extraordinary that he was an NFL ALL STAR AND MLB ALL STAR, unless it stems from some deep seated inferiority complex. But if you were a better athlete than Bo (or worked harder, or were more dedicated, or took greater chances, or whatever you're trying to say), then tell the world this.

Did you ever, even in college or post collegiately, triple jump farther than 48'8"? He did that in high school, weighing more than 200 pounds. Did you ever high jump 6'09". He did that in high school, weighing more than 200 pounds.

by the way i saw bo on the 30/30 special - he looks like he ate a BUNCH of people's "souls"...he weighed about 300 lbs !!

did you know abc asked bo 3 straight yrs to do the superstars vs herschel and renaldo nehemiah and so on and bo wouldn't do it...see, its easier to NOT do it...and just say you COULD have won it...see, that's safer...bo getting his butt kicked in a competition with all his nike hype wouldve looked bad...which is what woulda happened...oh, wait, bo can't lose at anything...right, CRUNCHER ?!?

did high jump higher than 6'9 (by the way the hs record is now 7'7)....didnt triple jump as it wasnt in the decathlon...threw the jav 226' and long jumped just under 25' and ran the 400 in 47....1500 in 4:28....hurdles in 13.9...when i was bo's age i was better than bo in 7 of 10 events....bo's build wasnt suited to multi-events - i was 6-1 and 195 ...some decathletes are taller and heavier but my size was average for decathlon

Well about 1/20th as many people throw javelin compared to the number of people who play baseball and football, if that.
