i would say chapman did a pretty good job developing these two guys. They improved 11 and 8 seconds respectively in the mile at IU. That being said, it is possible that a change of scenery and a more speed oriented coach could help them at this point, only time will tell and they are just trying something different. major injuries that they sustained in college were due to factors such as over running workouts, and also nonrunning related injuries. Either way, they have great potential, and support from many people who care about their careers such as chapman and ken schappert who both may have played a part in getting them a contract where other comparable runners out of college got less or nothing at all. They surrounded themselves with good people and had good connections...that helps a lot i think. They will be fast if they remain healthy-3:35 next season.
