Nice race from Morris. Stayed in lane 1 the entire race. But Hunter-Bell is very fit having a lot left at the end running the entire race in lane 2.

And Reekie does not
She always runs the same race then runs out of steam int he home straight. Every time.
I’m not sure she ever recovered from the glandular fever she had years ago. But her race tactics are not great either.
Very good race for Morris. I thought Wind might take her in the homestretch but she held her off.
Didn't realize that and Aníta Hinriksdóttir and Delia Sclabas were still competing. Sclabas has two World Junior bronze medals (from 2018, same year Jakob competed and Tanaka won the 3000). Dropped off the map after that.
Good meet so far. Bummed about Tobias though. Oof.
Nathan Green in heat 1, Luke Houser in heat 2
Why are they just letting this random guy run away from the field
What are these idiots doing giving that guy an 8 second lead l.

Worked out for the 3 favorites.

"Idiots" knew what they were doing
Poor Reekie got the fourth fastest time too, faster than GHB & 2/3 of the big 'Q' qualifiers. That's how it goes with no little 'q' time qualifiers.

Measuring their effort appropriately. Green advances. Entertaining heat!
There's a lot to be said for running on the inside.
I haven’t seen anything like that in a while in a 1500m heat.
Is Allon Clay part white? I realized that he competes for Japan but "Clay" certainly isn't a Japanese last name.
Houser simply didn’t qualify cuz of positioning. 2:52 with about 400m to go and everybody was in the race.
Farken has filed a protest to get Nathan Green DQ’d and himself advanced to the final.
Yeah, that was piss poor from Houser tactically. A bit surprising, he usually seems to get those right indoors. Just can't expect to pass an entire field indoors with 200 to go in a >3:40 race.
Chase Jackson over 20m.
Impressive from Garcia.
