The training runs are just that: training runs. You have to start one to start the race, but times don't matter at all. Most try a couple lines and don't even tuck the last sections/through the finish. Sometimes they are for a spot on the team (like two Austrian men earlier in the week were having a run off), but rarely. No women on the US DH team were competing for a spot. There were about 10 skiers from all nations, Including Cashman, skiing the training runs to just feel the slope out, they didn't race DH, but will race the SuperG later this week.
Fact is: LV isn't real bright. She went to online high school (only). She's an attention ho. Always has been. She makes poor decisions, on and off the snow. . She basically got married to change her last name because her father is a tool. Turned out her husband was the same. There was no way she was going to win without an acl. She just doesn't know what else to do.Celebrating reckless abandon over technique is "our" choice, I guess
They don't use toboggans in World Cup level ski racing. She could've walked out of the finish on her previous injury though--that was ridiculous.
Exactly how did this, "make her a bunch of money"?
