Training hasn't evolved; doping has. What is Hoey doing that Kipketer wasn't or didn't know about?
Training hasn't evolved?
I mean of all the idiotic conclusions you could come to about this era, you say this of all things - an era where almost above all else, the training has evolved the most.
What is Hoey doing that Kipketer wasn't? How about caring about running indoors just to start.
You have dementia. The serial troll angle isn't even cute anymore, it's deranged and tragic.
Athletes have been running indoors since the 60s. Hoey hasn't just discovered something new. What is he doing that gives him better speed endurance than Kipketer? You refuse to see the obvious.

He most likely realized you made a silly statement if he read your post at all. Of course training has advanced since Kipketer’s day. Threshold training alone has had profound effects. Kipketer is interesting, as he wasn’t even the top Kenyan until he began blood doping with a Polish(?) coach. He would every so often attribute his very regular illnesses to malaria but his symptoms didn’t match malaria - however they did indeed match well-known reactions to blood doping. Smooth runner, but an obvious cheat nonetheless. BTW, please provide proof you’re a kiwi. The posters in various threads have basically done a great job in showing you’re some crabby old American hating fraud out of Brooklyn (of course) larping as a New Zealander. Prove them wrong, if you can, old man.
Threshold training doesn't explain it, as that has been around for decades and not all the best athletes today use it.
The irony in your calling Kipketer an obvious cheat when Hoey's progression has been one of the least believable in the sport. But even more absurdly, you're effectively saying a clean (yeah, sure) American athlete is faster than a doped Kenyan world record holder. Totally ridiculous.
I don't have to prove where I'm from. I don't care if you don't believe that I'm a New Zealander but it is totally irrelevant to any of this. But that's what you do - focus on irrelevance. Or falsehood.
