Can't wait for the collab videos with the OG hybrid influencer-running coach-elite runner (the model Bowden is copying), Let's Run's own Sage Canaday, when she is sponsored by Hoka. Either this year or sometime down the line.

She’s an odd person and good for her as she continues to run, but she has a personality of a wall. Shes like a black hole in a room, sucks the energy out of everything

Apparently, she thinks Hoka should support her for the rest of her life. I would bet that if you considered the value she provided compared to how much she made from them, she got a pretty good deal.
She should be happy that she got paid for this long. The average age in the NBA & NFL 26/27. It’s great to be making money into your late 30s as a runner.

for someone of her age and (supposed) wisdom it was one of the dumbest most childless career suicide moves ever. not surprising no pro team will touch her, and its sad because she's still running and probably could've latched on somewhere, at the very least they'd pay for her flights to and from marathons.

Hope so. Dude is a legend, and well respected by most American elites. He deserves everything that he gets. I’ve also been impressed by his commentary on broadcasts, most recently the usatf xc champs.
Don’t most pro runners dwell in near-poverty? For instance, do they get health insurance through their apparel sponsors? How does that work?
In many runner/shoe sponsor contracts the runner becomes an employee of the shoe company, therefore entitled to health insurance.
No They Are Independent ConTractors, I have Heard Several Podcat's including Athletes Who have Had Contracts say they were not actually Employees And they did not get Health insurance, They are Independent Contractors.

Shrewd move by On. Doris Lemngole and Ceili McCabe, steeplers who will continue to make national teams for the rest of this decade, were signed last year and On will present a very attractive pro contract to Angelina Napoleon when she decides to turn pro. Olivia Markezich is next on the chopping block if she doesn't level up soon.
Well Olivia is injured. Spending all her days cycling. So not looking good. Then there are others like Norris who is 30 and her days are limited. Then of course Ramsden left on her own accord. OAC needs more young talent and stop acting like arrogant arses because things in general aren’t looking good there, for multiple reasons.
