What are you talking about? A kid goes suspended for breaking a team rule. But you want the school to prepare a statement for your pleasure?
The issue is not knowing what the suspension of the athlete (in this case Mr S.Clevenger, former Iowa State, age 22 in January 2026) could create a situation where innuendo, rumor and false allegations may thrive which is not good for the athlete or anyone else concerned.
Hopefully with the coming of the new semester in January 2026 - we can put this behind us and move on in a productive way.
Ok so the names missing from ISU’s new track roster who were on the xc roster are Clevenger, Haile, Rivera, and Simpson. Are any of these other athletes on the transfer portal / transferring?? Simpson is a senior, maybe he is out of eligibility idk
seriously guys, who hasn't done something that resulted in not only being kicked off a team but being kicked off so hard that you have transfer to a no name DIII school half way through the year, implying no serious school would consider you.

Evert Silva
Crazy part is that Evert said on TikTok that the Portland coach helped him find his way to OKC. No chance Sudz helped Clevenger find his way to Rowan other than a suspension
Seth Clevenger, who was apart of the earlier Iowa State scandal, has officially transferred to division 3 program Rowan University in Glassboro NJ. Based off his performance at Nuttycombe this October where he ran 23:37 (he ran 24:40 in 2024 LOL), placing 19th and beating the likes of Tayvon Kitchen and Leo Young, he will without a doubt be a contender to win the D3 national title in both the 3k and 5k (and 2026 XC). 1 week after his breakthrough performance, Iowa State suspended him for "violating team rules" (whatever that means). Fast forward 1 month later and he's going back to his home state of NJ. Anyone else find it ridiculous that there hasn't been more information on this entire scandal? Not accusing Seth of anything, but until there is more information on why ISU suspended him, he should not be able to race for Rowan.
you don't understand how our country's legal system works. you come up with the reason first, you give them process, and only then suspend. you seem to be suggesting we suspend then figure out why we are doing it or run any process. no. that point you're basically preemptively acting on gossip or what you don't even know.
i do think rowan would have to consider anything publicly available about what happened at iowa state. but we don't know what it was.
and what if the idea of how iowa state handled it was, for my purposes you're done, but i believe in second chances so this is a private matter and i won't be narc'ing you out to the next school if you behave yourself. because it's not just what did he do, it's whether that thing is the sort of thing tha should follow you around.
sorry but your post kind of feels like a prurient effort to extract the gossip by holding the career of the kid hostage.
His Alma mater, Haddonfield Memorial, made NXN for the first time in school history this year. And they placed 9th there
Haddonfield has been a top three team in New Jersey consistently and this was their first time at NXN. Don’t understand what you are trying to get at here but it’s baffling.

I think I can help here. You both agree on the fact that Haddonfield recently made a leap this year in order to make NXN. He is suggesting that the reason is that Haddonfield is now doping. Hope this helps.

Thank you and happy holidays.
Ghost1,
I've always appreciated your input/insight into European runners.
You've really latched into the defense of this guy. Why is that? He had a big jump in fitness obviously, but he still would have most likely finished outside of All American status had he run NCAAs

This is a ridiculous comment masked by how long it is. If this dude wasn't caught doping by now, we'd know it. If it was a lesser offensive they'd be RUSHING to make it public.
Rowan and their coaching staff are hiding behind the fact that it can't be proven so it's legal. Sure, it's legal but it's soft as hell and they should be shamed accordingly.
How dare they. This team is playing on national TV today in a regular season game with 100 times as many people watching as what watched the NCAA XC championship. And they have a player who they were claiming had a random injury but then were quilted into admitting that she is suspended for violating team rules. And yet, we don't know if she missed practice or punched a teammate or was using a banned substance. The audicity of them not to tell us.
