After all that hyping up, TDC first Aussie in 2:11:14. Bit dissappointing ngl.

Yes, plan was always for Cairess to pace Yee and Seseman. They mentioned it a few times in videos
Petros German Record 2:04:03
And silver in Tokyo.

Seems like Suguru did break the national record by 1s. Gonna wait for official confirmation though
looks like rtj dnf'ed. love jake but the weather seemed to overcook him way too early in the race.

Is it that surprising though?
A PB for TDC and NR for Jess. Can't blame the weather....was good enough to run well if they were fit and smart with pacing.
Emma Bates around the 2.25 mark? But looked like she was strolling in and waving at the crowds. Didn’t look to be too uncomfortable. Surely you should be spent at the end of a marathon - was she holding back?. The woman a minute or so before her (not sure who it was) was vomiting.
Emma Bates really had something left. She enjoyed the finish. Lots of more potential.
Tom do canto the peoples champ, what a legend.

Yeah but I wonder why she didn’t do a full send? Barely a hair out of place and waving to everyone.
How was hobby jogger Ingebrigsten (Krisoffer) doing? Thought he was shooting for sub 2:30?

No talking about the potential. She is not an elite runner. Can she win the local turkey trot - sure! But not much else.
